Howdy ya'all! Heres a few updates for you since by now I'm sure some of you might have started to think we all ended up in detox or something! On the contrary, all has been great and VERY busy. First of all Cam, Peter, Steve and I would like to throw out a HUGE congradulations to drummer Jamie and his wife LeeAnn for the news that in the next year I will "officially" become Uncle Beezer! That is awesome guys and we are all so happy for you. Can't wait to have a little Rock and Roll niece or nephew!
Now onto Rock news! First of all we would like to announce that Carbellion has received new endorsements from some GREAT new lines! We are proud to become a part of the Maxon and Cad Mics familys. Carbellion is heading into the studio today to start recording the follow up to the Villains CD. We have all labored extremely hard on writing, rewriting, tweaking, argueing(in a friendly who needs a beer way), rewriting and rehearsing these songs so this album is the barn burner we know we have in us. We all feel we have some great Rock and Roll songs here and want to take our time to make sure they are the best they can be. So I am not going to get ahead of myself and put a date on when this thing will be out. I promise I will write updates on how everything is going in the studio to keep ya'all as informed a possible. Some of the tracks are brand new songs that I dont think even the Gopher hole dwellers have heard and one or two tracks are older songs that we reworked and feel are still great tracks that need to be heard. And of course there are those of you that have already made Top Alcohol your favorite track on the CD. LOL.
The new CD will also feature the two songs "Left Behind" and "The Passage West" that are being released in March on a four song split CD with Swedens OUTSHINE who offer up the songs "Riot" and "I'm Sorry". Our label Indie 500 Records is teaming up with Dead Tree Music to release this bad boy in the U.S. and in Europe. Carbellion will be teaming up with Outshine for the 2008 Until We are Dead Tour on several select dates to promote the release of the new EP with a huge Indie 500 Records CD release show April 4th in Indianapolis! And then of course the grand finale being held at Champs in Sheboygan April 12th and 13th! So keep your eyes on our show schedule and make your plans to come see the Alcohol fueled monster that is Carbellion and Outshine!
